Big Stitches
The space of What Art Can Do is set up as an installation. The entire art space is used; with works fixed on the wall, standing on the floor, hanging from the ceiling, as well as interacting with each other. On the floor are wooden boards with rigid geographical shapes, some of which are also continued on the wall. Strips of colored tape connect or separate the works and unify the space.

Marja van Putten and Greet Weitenberg create works using textile as their main material, seeking to continually explore and reinvent that material.

Marja van Putten’s work blurs the boundaries between textiles, painting and sculpture, using textiles as a bold, monumental medium.

Greet Weitenberg creates monumental tufted works in which she integrates other materials that often enter the space.
